PAINT CORRECTION · BOSTON MA
YOUR PAINT IS DAMAGED.
YOU JUST CAN'T SEE IT YET.
Multi-stage paint correction. On-location. By appointment only.
Not a detail.
A restoration.
Paint correction is the process of removing defects from your vehicle's clear coat — swirl marks, fine scratches, water spots, and oxidation — using professional-grade machine polishing. Unlike a standard detail that cleans your paint, correction actually fixes it. The result is deeper gloss, sharper reflections, and paint that looks better than it has in years. And it's the only way to ensure a ceramic coating bonds to a flawless surface.
Every car is different.
Every correction is tailored.
We inspect your paint first and recommend only what your vehicle actually needs.
For vehicles in good overall condition. Removes light swirls, minor scratches, and haze. Enhances gloss and clarity. The right choice before ceramic coating on well-maintained paint.
For paint with moderate defects. Stage one cuts deeper to remove heavier scratches and oxidation. Stage two refines the finish to a high gloss. The most common correction level for daily-driven vehicles.
Full restoration for heavily damaged or neglected paint. Maximum defect removal followed by two stages of refinement. Reserved for vehicles with severe swirling, deep scratches, or significant oxidation.
Coating over damaged paint
locks the damage in permanently.
A ceramic coating bonds directly to your clear coat and hardens into a protective layer that lasts years. If your paint has swirl marks or scratches underneath, the coating preserves them — not hides them. Paint correction before coating isn't optional. It's the only way to guarantee the finished result is flawless. Every vehicle we coat gets a paint inspection first. No exceptions.
- Swirl marks locked in permanently
- Coating amplifies existing defects
- Paint looks worse under direct light
- Money wasted on a flawed finish
- Clean, defect-free surface
- Coating enhances true paint depth
- Flawless finish in all lighting
- Investment protected properly
How it works.
We assess your clear coat under lighting to identify swirl marks, scratches, water spots, and oxidation. This determines which correction stage your vehicle needs — and what we quote you.
A thorough hand wash, clay bar treatment, and iron decontamination removes all surface contamination before we touch a polisher to your paint. Clean paint corrects better and more safely.
We work panel by panel using professional dual-action and rotary polishers with the appropriate compounds and pads for your paint's condition. Each panel is checked under lighting before moving on.
After correction, every panel is wiped with IPA to remove polish residue and inspected under direct lighting. We don't move forward until the result meets our standard.
We walk you through the finished result, show you the difference, and discuss next steps — whether that's a ceramic coating application or a maintenance plan to keep the paint in top condition.
Every vehicle
is different.
Paint correction pricing depends on your vehicle's size, paint condition, and the correction level required. We inspect every vehicle before quoting — you'll never be charged for a stage your paint doesn't need.

We assess that for you. Every job starts with a paint inspection under lighting — we identify the depth and severity of defects and recommend only what your vehicle actually needs. You're never upsold into a correction level your paint doesn't require.
It removes clear coat defects — swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation that live within the clear coat layer. Deep scratches that penetrate through the clear coat and into the base coat cannot be corrected with polishing and may require touch-up paint or panel respray.
A single-stage correction on a standard-size vehicle typically takes 4–6 hours. Two-stage and three-stage corrections on larger vehicles can take a full day or more. We don't rush the process — each panel gets the time it needs.
You don't have to, but it's the smartest move. Correction restores your paint to its best condition. Coating then protects that condition for years. Without protection, corrected paint will begin accumulating new swirl marks from normal washing and use within weeks.
